Dr. Viviane Stein is a very meticulous dentist with an extraordinarily perceptive eye for even the smallest details.  She takes pride in her work and finds dentistry to be a wonderful and fulfilling career. Dr. Stein loves meeting and conversing with new people and helping them improve upon their oral health.  She finds cosmetic dentistry particularly gratifying as she has been able to successfully change the lives of many patients who were previously unhappy with their smile or appearance.  She writes bi-weekly informative dentistry articles for the Laguna Beach Independent newspaper.  She has significant research interests involving the evaluation of innovative and restorative dental technology for improved patient care.  Dr. Stein trained in oral surgery and was a National Merit Scholar recipient, awarded by the Brazilian College of Surgery and Traumatology.  She was also awarded the Young Researcher of the Year by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul for her study of night guard vital bleaching.
